Expanded Print Residency at Graphic Studio Dublin
It's been a pretty full-on couple of months, with the highlight being the first two weeks of my Expanded Print Residency at Graphic Studio Dublin. It's a brilliant studios in the city of my birth, staffed by brilliant and expert printmakers, and I spent my time there expanding my intalglio practice with carborundum and spitbite and sugarlift etching. I'll go back for another couple of weeks where I'll continue working on a moving image project, the first mini output of which is below....
Exhibition at the London Irish Centre open 17th October
I'm pretty damn excited to have fixed dates now for a show at the London Irish Centre. The London Irish Centre is a beautiful part of Camden life, providing essential services to the community, and generally having great vibes. I'll be doing an exhibtion of paintings and prints there from 17th October to 3rd November so get it in your calendar, especially the PV which will be the evening of the 17th. The painting above is one of a slew of new paintings that will be on show.
Open Studios in Cambridge
I did my first Cambridge Open Studios (see their website for deets), which involved the epic task of tidying my studio and making it safe and welcoming for the many visitors we had to St. Barnabas Press. Thanks so much to those of you who came by - was so nice to see so many friendly faces. Below is a little video of my space. I also have work throughout the common areas. This weekend is the last of open studios, so do come over 10-5 either day if you fancy it.
